Wiki empowers Simplicity customers

Simplicity – one of the recruitment industry’s leading providers of outsourced back office services – has given the thumbs up to customer empowerment through a unique Wiki application.

Based upon accepted conventions, whereby Simplicity takes on board customer suggestions for changes rather than delegates change permission, the Simplicity wiki is essentially a website that allows the creation and editing of any number of interlinked web pages via a web browser using a simplified mark-up language or a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) text editor.

Wikis are typically powered by wiki software and are often used collaboratively by multiple users. According to David Thornhill, Simplicity’s Managing Director: “We have built access for customers to masses of information about Simplicity products and services which we hope will be easy to access, informative and helpful. It means we can get rid of things like the operations manual and customers can go to the information they want and for it to be available 24/7 from anywhere in the world.

Thornhill added: “We have gained a reputation for innovation which has made us one of the fastest growing providers of funding and back office solutions for the recruitment industry.

“The Wiki is a logical progression for us at Simplicity where we have designed our business to focus on customer requirements. We are constantly pushing the boundaries of products and live by innovation and this in turn needs to meet customer needs, often base on cutting edge problem solving. Through the dynamic medium of the Wiki, we not only involve the customer in our thinking, but empower them to make suggestions. In that way we ensure that our products and services truly reflect market trends and requirements.”

Simplicity products include CashSimply, TempSimply, PermSimply, PayrollSimply, BackofficeSimply, GainSimply, VATSimply, AWRsimply, and Double It!, which provide a range of services from 100 per cent funding through to back office management and administration.
